The brand it self is a local brand with international quality. Coffee seeds are planted in Indonesia because they explained well in their website www.quintinos-coffee.com that Indonesia produce the best coffee quality since 1700's. So ya, they proudly mention that the coffee seeds they used came from Indonesia.
However, besides the coffee taste itself, the most eye catching part about this coffee is the way they play with how you serve the coffee. Usually, we do the french press or just stir the coffee powder in the glass (indonesian called it tubruk). For Quintino's you just need a cup and hot water. Inside the packaging they have separate foil pack. Inside it you'll find a coffee bag (now coffee also have the bag just like tea?! Amazing isn't it?). This smart packaging allows you to chill while you make your coffee. Just pour the hot water inside the bag and let the coffee drips slowly. Check out the image bellow!
Well, as fun as new ways to make your coffee, the cost of small page Quintino's 3 bags around IDR 23,000, quite expensive. But smart though should be appreciated. Taste wise, the coffee is pure Arabica coffee from Sumatra, not too strong and less acid taste (correct me all coffee lover if I am wrong).
I give you the step to make your Quintino's Coffee. |
